IDC is committed to continually working towards a more inclusive, equitable, and diverse community of researchers and practitioners. IDC provides funding to support emerging scholars (undergraduates, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows) to participate in the Interaction Design and Children conference and develop their careers through interaction with our community. Through generous support of our sponsors we have $500 travel awards for emerging scholars. We will fund as many applicants as possible and will send awards before the early registration deadline.

Gary Marsden Travel Awards
The Gary Marsden Travel Awards support undergraduate and graduate students, early-career researchers (such as those who are ≤ 5 years post-graduation), and those suffering from financial hardship or lacking institutional support, in attending ACM SIGCHI conferences. Please see our call for applications for specific eligibility criteria, details of the award, and review timelines. Deadline: May 9th at 11:59 PM AoE.
